Reporting to the General Manager UK/ROI, the key function of the Business Development Manager is to provide business consulting to “high value” Amway Business Owners (ABOs) in assigned markets via a data-driven approach

Principal Responsibilities will include:

·         Supports targeted ABOs to defined performance criteria

·         Sets performance objectives with Key Account

·         Continuous market analysis & research on account dynamics

·         Manages group profitability & conducts account reviews

·         Determines crucial needs of key customers & carries them out

·         Develops individual market plans to motivate ABOs (with GM)

·         Effective negotiation and sales strategies

•        Defines and implements a strategy to manage the accounts

•        Ensures first-class customer care and service

•        Participates in the organization and execution of Amway organized events

•        Participates in ABO meetings

Required Qualifications:

•        5 + years of experience in the field

•        Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

•        Fluency in the English language (written and verbal)

•        Computer literacy

•        Performance, results-driven and entrepreneurial personality

•        Very good consulting skills, networking and selling techniques

•        Strong analytical skills

•        Professional attitude and approach, Champion of customer service

•        Ability to work under pressure, excellent time-management & prioritisation

•        Self-starting personality, pro-active and self- motivated

•        Extensive travel will be required within the region covered; occasional travel to Europe; regular travel to Milton Keynes for business meetings

•        In-depth knowledge and experience of using new technology and social media platforms to generate and drive business growth

The successful candidate is likely to work from home, and should have a full driving licence and be confident driving long distances.  The majority of meetings will be in the South of England and additionally the BDM will be required to attend regular team meetings in Milton Keynes (with overnight stays) plus occasional European travel is also a requirement.
